Centrifuges
Salient Features:
Bag Lifting Top Discharge type of Centrifuge is the basic type of centrifuge for solid-liquid separation.
It contains a basket which is dynamically balanced, in which a filter bag is placed to retain the solid within the basket.
This bag can be lifted using a chain pulley manually or in motorized mode.
Thus, the discharge of solid cake is instant and fast, facilitating quicker operation with less labor involved.
The main parts of the centrifuge are Bearing and Shaft, Basket, Drive, and Brake.
Bearing and Shaft:
The heavy-duty bearing is chosen to withstand vibratory loads and centrifugal forces, duly fitted in a bearing housing.
The bearing housing is designed and filled with grease to ensure long maintenance-free performance.
The shaft is made of suitable material and is independently balanced without the basket for higher accuracy.
Basket:
The basket is made with adequate thickness to withstand loads caused by centrifugal forces developed by material in the basket.
It is perforated and duly balanced. The basket bottom is made of mild steel and lined at the inner surface with rubber or stainless steel as required.
Drive:
The drive consists of a motor mounted at the basket casing and driven through a V-belt, with provision for belt tensioning.
The centrifuges are fitted with a mechanical clutch pulley at the motor shaft.
Brake:
The centrifuges are fitted with external shoe brakes with brake liners.
The brakes are heavy-duty type, designed to bring a loaded basket to a stop quickly.
Material of Construction:
The centrifuge material of construction can be carbon steel, stainless steel, or rubber-lined.

MINI COTA (SPRAYING SYSTEM)
The Mini Cota (Semi-Automatic Spray Coating Machine) is designed to replace conventional manual coating of tablets and granules. It provides a rapid and uniform coating system with multiple functional features and advantages.
This compact machine is equipped with a specially designed stainless steel (S.S.) spray gun for atomized spraying. Compared to fully automatic systems, which are 15-20 times more expensive, the Mini Cota offers a more economical and user-friendly alternative.

Operation & Mechanism: The Bombay Engineering Mini Cota consists of a pressure vessel, which can be optionally provided with an S.S. jacket for sugar coating, controlled heaters, a safety valve, an oscillating-type pneumatic stirrer, and spraying nozzles. It also includes a compact control panel with a pneumatic cylinder, ensuring precise intermittent spraying controlled by a timer.
The coating solution is filled into the pressure vessel and pressurized using oil/moisture-free compressed air at 3 to 4 kg/cm², resulting in a uniform, atomized conical spray. The spray guns, mounted on a heavy-duty S.S. stand, can be adjusted as required. The duration of air and liquid spray is controlled by a digital timer and pneumatic cylinder via a solenoid valve.

POLISHING PAN

Coating Pan machine is consists of an Ellipsoidal pan mounted on a suitable stand and driven by a motor through the right gearbox. The pan is made out of SS 316 and has welded baffles in it. This baffle helps in the tumbling of the tablets/material into the pan while rotating. The speed can be changed by a 3 step pulley or a variable speed drive provided in the control panel. It supplies a hot air blower and the coating pan with heater assembly and a flexible SS pipe, which goes into the pan to dry the tablets/material into the pan after coating. A Control panel helps provide a Starter or variable speed drive, Digital temp controller for controlling temperature.
A spraying system with the pan coating for film coating/sugar coating into the coating pan’s tablets/material. It consists of a suitable capacity pressurized vessel with spray guns mounted on a stand. The liquid into the container is pressurized and sprayed into the coating pan on the coated material. A peristaltic pump helps offer a transfer of fluid into the spray gun and then spread it into the pan.
We provide an exhaust blower as an option for exhausting fumes generated by the liquid spraying into the coating pan’s tablets/material.
A wet scrubber helps neutralize the exhaust fumes before entering the open atmosphere.
